Paul Murata is a R.Kin. CAT(C). He is a member in good standing with the CATA and the OATA. He is currently serving as an Athletic Therapist for the Team Canada’s Women’s Senior National Wheelchair Basketball Team. The team returned from a successful Parapan Am Games in Lima, Peru where we returned with a gold medal and qualified for the Tokyo 2020 (2021) Paralympics Games.
Prior to his return to Canada, Paul spent 20 years working as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Lecturer at multiple universities within the USA. He served as a preceptor and mentor within Athletic Training Education Programs and had the honour of working alongside some of the most well-respected healthcare professionals and hall of fame coaches. Specifically, Paul worked at Lincoln University (PA), Temple University (PA), University of Virginia and the University of South Carolina.
