OATA is offering members information on how to support Ukrainians during this crisis. These organizations are vetted as legitimate, able to issue proper receipts, and committed to ensuring the donations reach the Ukraine.

Canadian Red Cross: Ukrainian Humanitarian Crisis Appeal
The Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement are collecting funds to help Ukraine, which has been impacted by almost eight years of conflict. Donations will support both immediate and ongoing relief efforts, long-term recovery, resiliency and other critical humanitarian activities as needs arise, both in Ukraine and surrounding countries, including those who are displaced. Canadians wishing to make a donation by phone should call 1-800-418-1111.

Unicef: Ukraine Emergency Fund
Donations will support the organization’s ongoing programs and response to the escalating need in Ukraine by providing communities with safe water, urgent medical aid and health-care services, child protection and education. UNICEF has been working in Ukraine since 1997. Those who prefer to give by phone can call 1-877-955-3111.

Save the Children Canada: Ukraine Support Campaign
Save the Children Canada, a member of Save the Children International, has been working in Ukraine for eight years providing essential humanitarian aid to children and their families. The Canadian branch of this international NGO has issued an urgent appeal for financial support for Ukraine and Ukrainians in surrounding areas.
