Drew Laskoski


Drew is the Founder and Co-owner of Upper Canada Sports Medicine. He has been at the OATA since 1998 and has served as President of the organization from 2005 to 2019. Drew Laskoski holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, a diploma in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan College and various advances courses that includes: Myofascial Release Release-Barnes Method, Part I & II, Craniosacral Therapy I & II, Muscle Energy Part I & II   (Biomechanical Emphasis-Glenn Sprague), among others. Drew is also certified as a Red Cross First Responder-EAD.

His work experience includes:


  • Schomberg Cougars Jr. ‘C’ Hockey Club Trainer 1985-86 and 2017-present

  • Newmarket 87’s Junior Hockey Club Head Athletic Therapist 1987-1989

  • University of Toronto Varsity Hockey team trainer 1989-90

  • Newmarket 87’s Junior Hockey Club Head Trainer 1991-1995

  • Newmarket 87’s Junior Hockey Club Head Athletic Therapist -1996

  • Stouffville Spirit Provincial Jr “A” Head Athletic Therapist-1997-2007

  • Newmarket Hurricanes Jr "A" Head Athletic Therapist 2007- 2015


Drew has participated on the 1999 and 2015 Pan Am Games as part of the Host Medical Team. On 2014, the Ontario Junior Hockey League announced that Drew Laskoski was named the 2014-15 recipient of the OJHL Trainer-of-the-Year Award.
