Health in Motion Episode 1

In this episode, Jen Mark sat down and chat with Erin Brooks, the Head Athletic Therapist of the Toronto Argonauts during their 2004 Grey Cup win. Together, they discussed the important role Athletic Therapists play in major games and playoffs. 

About Erin Brooks 

Erin Brooks is a Certified Athletic Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Kinesiologist, a graduate of the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program, and certified First Responder. Erin has been practicing Athletic Therapy since 1999 after she graduated from York University with a Degree in Kinesiology and a Certificate in Sport Therapy.

 

Erin spent over 10 years with the Toronto Argonauts Football Club starting in 2001 as the assistant athletic therapist and taking over as Head Athletic Therapist in the 2002 season. Erin helped Toronto earn a Grey Cup win in 2004, as well as 6 East Division finalist appearances. She is currently with the David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic working with the Varsity Football team at the University of Toronto.
